The Visits page allows you to add visits for the Quality performance category and view the status of existing visits. It houses all patient and visit information. You can access each visit by clicking on the patient ID, viewing the questions for each quality measure, and making changes to existing answers.
Enter the Visits page
1. From your dashboard, click Continue in the Quality row.
2. From the Data Entry tab, click Visits in the Visits row.
Navigate the Visits page
The centerpiece of the Visits page is the list of patient visits. Each visit displays the following information:
- Patient ID
- Date of Service (DOS)
- Updated
- Status of each measure you've selected
Clicking Patient, DOS, or Updated sorts the list by the respective column header (Patient ID 0-9/A-Z, Date of Service earliest first, Last Updated earliest first). Clicking the column header a second time reverses the sort order.
You can also choose the number of visits displayed on the page by using the Visits Per Page dropdown menu. You can view 25, 50, 100, or 500 visits per page.
Use filters to refine a search
The Visits page also features filters to refine your searches. Click the blue plus icon in the row of the filter you want to use.
Below are brief descriptions of each filter:
- Patient ID: This allows you to search by your Patient IDs. Select Exact Match to limit results to exactly what you enter.
- Date of Service: This allows you to enter a date range to filter visits.
- Last Updated Date: This allows you to filter by the last date you updated a visit.
- Visit Information: This allows you to filter for NPI, Location, or Meta fields if you've mapped them in your data. Click Add Filter to include multiple Visit Information fields.
- Has NPI: Select Yes to filter for visits that have an NPI associated with them. Select No for visits that lack an NPI.
- Primary Insurer and Secondary Insurer: These filters allow you to select from a dropdown menu of insurances if you've mapped insurance information to your visit data.
- Measure Status: This filter allows you to sort by any measure you've selected and measure status. You can also sort by all visits or visits in the performance report. Click Add Filter to filter by multiple measures or measure statuses for the same measure.
- Date Range: This allows you to filter by all visits or visits in the current performance period. If you have multiple years of data, this filter can quickly limit your data to the current performance period.
