1. Submission criteria for eCQMs require the use of CEHRT.
2. Your EHR must capture all patient denominator and numerator data.
3. Your EHR must electronically submit this data to MIPSpro by 1 of 2 methods.
- A direct EHR integration with MIPSpro
- File transfer via SFTP
4. You can’t manually add or edit visits in MIPSpro. Doing so breaks the electronic chain. You need to add or update visits in your EHR. Your EHR can then send the information to MIPSpro to meet the end-to-end reporting requirements.
Note on spreadsheets
Spreadsheet uploads aren’t eligible unless you’ve sent your data directly from your EHR by SFTP.
Select Yes for electronic reporting
- In the Electronic Reporting row, click Go To Page.
- Pick which measures will be electronically reported. You can also choose All measures qualify for CEHRT or None of the measures qualify for CEHRT.
- If you're manually entering or uploading your own files or spreadsheets, select No for each measure. If your data is coming over via an API integration or an auto SFTP (data coming over from your EHR directly into MIPSpro), select Yes for each measure.
- Click Save.
Note for DrChrono users
Specific permissions must be turned on in DrChrono’s EHR Account Setup page to successfully import all providers’ data from DrChrono to MIPSpro.
The initial import takes 5-7 days to complete. Data imports occur weekly. By Friday, any visits from the prior week and any updates made from the prior week should show in your MIPSpro account.
Note for EZDERM users
After completing your account setup, which includes completing the 2 steps on the Measures tab within the Quality performance category section of MIPSpro, please contact EZDERM Customer Support at techsupport@ezderm.com or 877-443-9337 to notify them that your account is ready to receive data.
EZDERM typically turns on the integration in the fourth quarter. Once the integration is live, additional data transfers to MIPSpro (for both new and updated visits) typically take place each hour.
Once you finish the Electronic Reporting page, make sure to complete the Completion Threshold page.
